Clubs and Organizations

St. Jane’s offers students a variety of student activities. School sponsored activities include:

Student Council - the students in grades 5 - 8 vote for students to represent them on the student council. Student council promotes student leadership in the school. Meetings are held once a month after school.

Band - Any student who plays a musical instrument may be part of the band. The band meets on Wednesdays.

Yearbook - Eighth grade students are invited to join the staff.

National Junior Honor Society - The purpose of this organization is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to encourage service, to promote leadership, and to develop character. Grades 7 - 8 are eligible for consideration.

Cup Stacking - Students in grades 1 - 8

Handchimes – Students in grades 4 – 8

Knitting Club – Students in grades 5 – 8

Newspaper - Students in grades 6 – 8

Other Activities include: Bonding activities with NDHS, Presidential Physical Fitness, Career Day, Outreach programs, field trips, assemblies, safety programs, DARE program, anti-smoking program, field day, concerts,
and many more.

Through our CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) the following sports programs are available:

  • Basketball for Grades 3 – 8
  • Cheerleading (Girls) for Grades 5 – 8
  • Cross Country for Grades 1 – 8
  • Soccer for Grades K – 8
  • Softball (Girls) for Grades 3 – 8
  • Track for Grades K – 8
  • Volleyball (Girls) for Grades 5 – 8
  • Flag Football
  • Junior Baseball

Our CYO also sponsors the following cultural/academic programs

  • Chess Club for Grades 3 – 8
  • Halloween Party for Grades K – 3
  • Easter Egg Hunt for Grades K – 2
  • Geography Bee for Grades 4 – 8
  • Spelling Bee for Grades 5 – 8
  • Academic Bowl for Grades 7 – 8
  • Dances for Grades 7 – 8
  • Declamation for Grades 7 – 8
  • Communion Breakfast
